Alamo, March 4 – Mrs. Lillie Mae Stull Elliott, 71, native of Ripley Township died at her home north of Alamo at 10 o’clock Thursday night. She had been in declining health for some time and bedfast for the past 7 weeks. Mrs. Elliott, the daughter of Aquilla Stull and Georgian Case Stull was born near Alamo July 16, 1877. She was one of a family of 9 children.  Four sisters and one brother preceded her in death.  One sister, Mrs. Emma FOllick of near Waynetown and two brothers survive. One brother, Lawson Stull lived at her home on the farm while the other surviving brother, John Stull resides in Covington.  Mrs. Elliot was twice married. She had no children.  Her first husband, “Bud” Pickett died in 1935. She was married in the autumn of 1937 to Homer Elliott who died two months ago. She was a member of the Old Ridge Farm Christian Church.  Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. John Servies from the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown at 1:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon with burial in the Waynetown cemetery. - kbz
